The 7th annual 5K/10K, Fun Trail Walk, Youth Mini Race takes place on a scenic city run. It starts on the west by the Main Plaza and follows the Old #9 trail. It will split off for the 10K. The Trail walk is a meandering mile down by Cibolo Creek. 

The Turkey Trot is one of the Hill Country's top races. The first 600 participants are guaranteed long-sleeve tech shirts. In 2017, we had over 670 registrants, so register early to ensure a shirt!

**Course Monitors**

Saturday, November 17 Street around Boerne, Texas

Show up to plaza and get your assigned spot on the race course.
Job includes shouting directional cues along the race course to participants; ensuring runners are safe on the road and that no runner gets off-course. A fun job but requires a lot of standing and high energy to keep runners energized. You are welcome to bring a chair and cooler for snacks if needed. End time will vary on your location on the route. If you know where you would like to be, please let us know!

Finish Line Food Crew

Job requires staging the snacks for the race participants.
Also, ongoing monitoring to ensure participant receives one serving, restocking items once they are out, and tearing down boxes and gathering trash.
Other duties include passing out waters and fruit as needed.

Award Assistant

Job requires being responsible for the setting out of and guarding awards prior to award presentations at 9:30 am and 10:45 am.
Help in handing out of awards and then packing up any unclaimed awards and delivering them back to one of the co-race director.
