A Historic Milestone for Our Y: Introducing the Hartman Family YMCA

I am excited to share an important milestone in the future of our YMCA and our community. In November of 2025, alongside our partners at Morgan’s, we officially broke ground on the Hartman Family YMCA, a first-of-its-kind Ultra-Accessible™, fully inclusive fitness and wellness center that will redefine what it means for everyone to belong at the Y . 

This transformational project represents far more than a new building. It reflects who we are and who we aspire to be, an organization committed to ensuring that people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds have equitable access to health, wellness, and community connection. 

Developed in partnership with Morgan’s and located on their Longhorn Quarry campus across from Morgan’s Sports Complex, the Hartman Family YMCA will serve as a national model for an Ultra-Accessible™ design. With specialized adaptive equipment, inclusive fitness studios, youth and community spaces, and environments designed for comfort and accessibility, this branch will expand our reach while deepening our commitment to belonging and well-being for all. 

Construction begins soon, with the facility expected to be completed in the Fall of 2026 and anticipated to open in early 2027. As we look ahead to our 150th Anniversary in 2026, this milestone symbolizes our continued growth and the lasting impact we can make by boldly pursuing innovation in service to our community.
