Weekly Themes
Week 1: Welcome Week!
Summers back! This week will be filled with icebreakers; camp flags, getting to know each other activities, and much more. Some campers will reunite and some will be joining us for the first time. Staff & campers will be able to introduce one another and begin building relationships. In addition, campers will be able to plant their tree at camp, water it throughout the days and watch as it blossoms throughout the summer.
Week 2: Around the World!
During this week campers will explore the different traditions, cultures, and celebrations around the globe. Activities will bring about further education about our country and others, projects will bring the campers closer together as well to unite as one, and relationships will continue to grow as we learn about everyone’s different backgrounds.
Week 3: Wacky Week
Show off your spirit with our wacky week! Wacky week will consist of daily challenges such as, crazy hair day, sunglasses day, wear your favorite team shirt, etc. We will also incorporate crazy art activities and mind-blowing stem projects. This week campers will also be included in a Juneteenth celebration.
Week 4: Where the Wild Things Go?
Explore summer on the wild side for a week. Be ready to explore camp with scavenger hunt activities, nature-filled art projects, looking for different sceneries around camp and so much more!
Week 5: Game On!
Get ready to move and get your competition face on! Campers will go through a series of challenging games, relay races, and other projects throughout camp. This will be great for large groups to come together to form alliances with one another and also continue to build stronger relationships with each other. Camp flags will also be brought out to play!
Week 6: Stars & Stripes
What better way to celebrate 4th of July other than hot weather, outdoor activities, and bright projects being made? 4th of July will consist of bright art activities, explosive STEM projects, and plenty more fun!
Week 7: The Masked Heroes
Superhero week is always the favorite for campers. We will include our favorite superhero activities, out of this world projects, and incorporate fun superhero games for our kids to participate in. Not only does this bring out the creativity in our campers, but it also gives them a week to transform and portray someone they look up to or have always wanted to be. We will also not only make it about superheroes but our loving Disney characters as well.
Week 8: Mythical World
Lookout campers! This week will consist of giants, wizards, potions, and any mythical creature you can think of. Join in for some dragon races, some explosive mad science projects, wizard code-cracking, and many more mythical activities.
Week 9: Shipwreck!
We will be introducing our campers to loads of summer fun and bringing the cool beach to them. From being stranded on a beach bringing out their survival skills, to pirate theme activities, limbo contests, tiki tosses, and maybe some beach ball volleyball as well!
Week 10: Summer Send-Off!
Until next time campers, this is the final countdown! We will be sending off our campers back to school or back to their home cities. This week will be filled with goodbyes between campers and staff as well. We will have a cute memory book for our campers to sign for one another, watch how our tree has grown since week 1, and fulfill fun activities one last time!
