Safety Around Water is a program led by certified instructors dedicated to teaching youth essential water safety skills while encouraging exploration. The YMCA believes every child deserves the opportunity to learn how to swim.
The YMCA’s Safety Around Water Class includes:
Exercises to help youth feel comfortable in the water
Fun activities to reinforce learned skills
Instruction on how to stay safe and self-rescue in water

This event is made possible through our partnership with PoolCorp and their Swimpact! program. The YMCA of Greater San Antonio is offering this hands-on learning experience, including swim lessons from certified instructors and valuable safety tips from the local fire department.
