Who We AreAt the Y, strengthening the community is our purpose. Strong communities don’t just happen; they’re the result of steady leadership and stewardship of strong values. That’s the Y. We make a difference by focusing on three key areas: youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. By investing in our youth, our health and our neighbors, the YMCA OF GREATER SAN ANTONIO ensures that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to thrive. Who We ServeThe Y is proud to serve the health, fitness and wellness needs of hundreds of Y Wellness Partners, and thousands of Partner Members and their families. The Y’s doors are open to adults and families, corporations, businesses large and small, for-profit and nonprofit organizations, our US Armed Forces, institutions of learning, higher education, and more. The Y would be delighted to partner with your organization in a journey toward wellness. How to QualifyY Wellness Works partnership requires a minimum of 10 membership activations forged through an informal Wellness Partner agreement. Safe Place To BelongThe Y is committed to providing a safe environment and, therefore conducts regular sex offender screenings on all members, participants, and guests. If a match occurs, the Y reserves the right to cancel membership, end program participation, and remove visitation access.
