The purpose of the Blood Pressure Self-Monitoring program is to assist adults diagnosed with hypertension to lower their systolic and diastolic blood pressure through the simple process of checking and recording their blood pressure at least twice a month over a four-month period. Participants in this program will work with a Healthy Heart Ambassador to:
Enrollees are expected to: • Learn to self-measure and record their blood pressure a minimum of twice per month
• Attend two personalized consultations per month
• Participate in monthly nutrition education seminars

A 12-week program developed for adults who need assistance in achieving their weight loss goal. A Y Certified Coach will facilitate interactive discussions on various topics that can lead to successful weight management. The program begins with an information session to help educate participants on what to expect over the course of their time together.
Attendees will receive:
• Private weekly weigh-ins
• YMCA Weight Loss Program topic information(weekly)
• Opportunities to self-identify areas in need of improvement
• Exploratory discussions that seek solutions for success

• Participant Minimum of 10
• 25 Maximum
Customized health and fitness challenge support which may include: body measurement, weight-loss, and exercise.
Benefits:
• Private pre and post fitness assessment testing by a Y Health Coach offered within a time period identified by the partner organization
• Analysis may include:
Body weight
Body Mass Index (BMI)
Fat : Muscle : Water measurement
Data Management - collection, storage and result calculations
Y Branch Usage Reports
• A one-week guest pass invitation for non- members and their families to experience the YMCA of Greater San Antonio
Site needs:A comfortable meeting space where individual assessment testing may be privately administered. The Y will provide a cross-branded flyer to aid in the partner organizations’ promotion of this event.

Designed to bring wellness onsite for Y Wellness Partner organizations. Our certified Y Instructor can provide a variety of class types on days and times that fit unique needs.
Class formats include:
Boot Camp, Zumba, Core & More, Line Dancing, Workout of the Day, Yoga, Pilates, Stretch and other types of group exercise activities.
Program requirements: Scheduled through an informal Y Wellness Works Group Exercise Class Agreement and Guidelines outlining details and expectations of the Partner arrangement. Y Participant Waiver of Liability must be completed in advance of class attendance. Partner organization will provide a consistent, safe space for class type and audio support if available. The Y will provide a cross-branded yer to aid in class promotion efforts.

We are experts in wellness center management and welcome the opportunity to assist you with yours. Full operational coordination of facilities management, staffing, and programming options is available for single or multi-site centers.

Limitless service opportunities exist for those interested in helping expand the reach of our mission: To put Judeo-Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind, and body for all. The Y invites you and your organization to help strengthen the foundations of our community through our key focus areas: Youth Development, Healthy Livin,g and Social Responsibility.
This program helps adults at high risk of developing type 2 Diabetes adopt and maintain healthy lifestyles. Participants will work together in a small group to learn about healthier eating and increasing their physical activity to reduce their risk of developing diabetes.
Participant requirements: • 1year(16weekly,3bi-weekly,6monthly)for1hour per session • Small group discussion facilitated by a YMCA Certified Lifestyle Coach • Topics cover Nutrition, Physical Activity and the Mental Aspect of Change • Adults must be diagnosed prediabetic or qualify through the “What is your risk score?” assessment.
Site needs: A minimum of 10 participants is preferred. An adequate meeting space with tables, chairs and a projection screen/wall is required for each weekly session. Cross-branded Y Wellness Series materials will be provided for internal promotion by the partner organization.

This three-part program is designed in partnership with the San Antonio Food Bank for adults interested in nutrition and gaining a Healthier Lifestyle. Each 12-week segment is launched through an informational session that includes a program orientation and Q & A opportunity.
Attendees will experience: • Private monthly weigh-ins • Pre and post body-composition assessments • Weekly health and wellness seminars (30-45 minutes) • Cooking demonstrations • Interactive Health Coaching by Y Professionals
Site needs: A minimum of 10 participants is preferred. An adequate meeting space with tables, chairs and a projection screen/wall is required for each weekly session. Cross-branded Y Wellness Series materials will be provided for an internal promotion by the partner organization.
